Where is Website Settings?
Open Content, then Website Settings. The same page opens from the Page Builder settings button, from the Core Bridge preview toolbar, and from a link that ends in ?tab=settings.
There are three tabs: General, SEO, and Custom Code. Each card has its own Save. A change is not stored until that card is saved.
On General:
- Favicon: the small icon in the browser tab.
- Social Image: the image used when the site is shared.
- Google Analytics Measurement ID: paste the measurement ID from Google Analytics.
- Page Language: the site’s default language. Addresses with no language prefix, the blog’s default language, the page language tag, and the sitemap follow this setting. Other languages use a prefix such as /zh-Hans/. Changing Page Language does not rewrite the words already written in a Core Bridge design or in Page Builder blocks.
- Auto-redirect: when this is on, a visitor is shown the site in their browser language.
- Canonical Names: the site’s own domain names, such as example.com. This card appears when the plan includes a custom domain. Do not put https:// in the name.
- Sensitive Content: turn on “Show age verification popup for adult content (18+)” when the site should ask visitors to confirm they are 18 or older.
If the page says “This site does not have a website record yet,” the selected website has no settings record. The site needs to be created before these fields can be saved. If the Canonical Names card is missing, the plan may not include a custom domain. DNS at the domain registrar is separate.
