How do I train the chatbot?

The chatbot belongs to the selected website. Training one site does not train another site. Training is on a desktop browser.

1. Open Chatbot, then Training.
2. Add material on the URL tab or the Text tab.
3. URL: paste a page address. You can load subpages and choose which ones to include. Upload stores them. Upload and train stores them and starts training.
4. Text: enter a title and the text, then upload or upload and train.
5. The table under the form lists materials. Train starts training for selected rows. Delete removes a material. Open a row for the details. Status shows whether training has finished.
6. A progress bar shows training in progress. Answers in Try your chatbot and on the live widget update after training finishes.

The File tab is not offered. To use a PDF or Word file, paste the text on the Text tab or train from a public URL. There is a material limit on the plan. When the limit is reached, use a higher plan or delete old materials. A viewer cannot add or delete training material. Try your chatbot is a practice conversation. It does not replace the public widget.
