How do I publish a blog post?
Blog posts are not pages in Pages Management. Open Content, then Blog.
- Click New Post, or open an existing post.
- Write the title and the article.
- Save keeps the work. On a new post the draft button says Save to Draft. On a draft it says Update Draft. On a published post it says Switch to Draft, which takes the post off the public site.
- Publish puts the post on the public site. After that, the same button says Update.
- Stay on the page until Save or Publish finishes.
- Search engine listing is on the post: Page title, Meta Description, and URL Slug. Title and description are saved per language. The slug is shared by every language.
- Change cover sets the post image.
- Delete asks for confirmation. Deleting a post also removes the published copy.
The public blog list is often /resources when that page exists on the site. The stored default is /blog. A post link looks like {list path}/{slug}. An old /blog/{slug} address redirects to the live list path. Blog Page Layout is the list page design. Blog Privacy Settings controls who can see the blog.
