Guides

What does Discover pages do?

  1. Open Content, then Pages Management.
  2. Click Discover pages.
  3. Wait until the button stops saying Discovering.
  4. New pages are added as unpublished drafts. Publish each one after the title and description look right.
  • Discover reads routes that are already in the website code. It does not invent addresses.
  • If nothing new is found, the message is “No new pages to add. Existing SEO was left unchanged.”
  • Discover never overwrites a title or description you have already saved.
  • A page whose path is no longer in the code is marked Not in current code. It stays in the list until you delete it.
  • Discover does not run by itself, and it does not run on Go Live.

If Discover marked every page “Not in current code,” click Discover pages once more. Pages that really left the code stay marked for a manual delete.
